New Friends

Hi Guys. This school holidays, I made some new friends. Their names are Missy and Splash.

This is Missy......

And this is Splash.

When I went to visit them, we had lots of fun at the park that is down the road from them. At that park there are netball courts, an awesome playground and lots of other fun things.

This is us up on a basketball hoop.

It took us ages to climb up there. When we did get up there, Missy got stuck! We couldn't get her down. We had to call our owners to come and help get her down. Even for them it was really hard to get her down.

After that, we went and climbed mount Everest! (not really.) We took a long time in climbing this massive mountain. This is us on the way up.

We finally reached the top. It was worth the climb! The view of the park was amazing.

We tried to play on the flying fox but we got stuck halfway! We were marooned! We had to bark really loudly so that our owners would hear us and come and get us down! It was fun even though we got stuck.

There was a huge climbing frame at the park. It was so much fun to climb on. Some parts were really hard to climb on but others weren't so hard. We spent all afternoon there. This is us on the swings that were on the climbing frame.

It was so much fun. I can't wait to visit them again soon. Look out for the next post.

Sorry

Hi everyone. I have a few apologies to make. I bet you are wondering why I haven't finished my post about my travels. Well........ there were a few problems. Firstly, when I was on the plane from Mexico to Paris, my bag got stolen. Yes, stolen. When I found it again, nothing was left but my pillow and blanket! Everything was gone. That included my laptop, camera and passport!

This posed me a bit of a problem. Without my passport, I couldn't get home! I was in a lot of trouble. I only just got home last week. It took me just under a month to get home! I couldn't even post about what was happening to me because my laptop was stolen!

I had to cut short all my holiday plans. There were a lot of tricky procedures to go through to get a new passport and get home. At first I couldn't even get out of the airport in Paris because I didn't have a passport!

I was a little disappointed about having to miss out on all the rest of my holiday. I don't think that I will go travelling much again. There are lots of places to see in West Australia and you don't even need a passport to see them.

Well, now I am home and I am just relaxing with my friends. I am enjoying the school holidays and having lots of fun. I even made some new friends as you will see in my next post.

Tuseday,Wednesday and Thursday in Mexico City

Hi guys. This post is about what I did in Mexico City. I am on the plane that is leaving for Paris. It was the first time I have been in a country that doesn't speak my language! Fortunately I learned some basic Mexican before I left home. I thought you might like to see what I learned.
Yes: Si
No: No
Please: Por Favor
Thank you: Gracias
Hello: Hola
Goodbye: Adious
Do you speak English: Hablas Ingles
I don't understand: No Entiendo
These are some of the basic Mexican words. I learned lots more but it would take too long to type them all.
The first place that I went when I arrived in Mexico on Tuesday was the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It was so beautiful. I even saw the Tilma that has the picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe on it! It was really amazing. This is me in front of the church. Isn't it beautiful!

After I went to the Basilica, I went to See the Pyramid of the Sun. The Pyramid of the Sun was built by the Teotihuacanos. They didn't name it what it is called now. That is what the Aztec's called it when they came to live there after the Teotihuacanos abandoned it. What the Teotihuacanos called it, no one knows. This is me sitting in front of the Pyramid.
I went to the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral after I had lunch. I had Tacos for lunch. The Cathedral was really awesome. It was huge! Guess what! It was even a Catholic cathedral!!!!!!!
I did all that on Tuesday. Afterwards, I was really tired. I had a good night's sleep and then was ready to go to Chapultepec Zoo. It was really amazing to see all the animals. There were so many different ones. Here are some pictures that I took of them.

Aren't all these animals beautiful. I saw lots more but I can't put in all my pictures. Going to the Zoo took all of my day. On Thursday, I went to the most fun place ever! I went to Six Flags. Six Flags is an adventure park. It is SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is me at the front gate.
There were so many rides that I couldn't decide what to take photo's of. Just imagine Adventure world or Disney world. It is similar to that but also different! It is so hard to explain! All I can say for certain is that it was really, really fun. There were roller-coasters, water slides and almost anything else that you can think of.
I am now looking forward to going to Paris. I am on the plane there right now! C-U soon!

Monday in NYC

Once again, this is a catch up post. This one is about my second day in NYC. Today I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was really interesting. This is a picture of me, standing in front of it before I went in.
It is pretty big, isn't it! No wonder I had to take the whole day to see all of it! It was really interesting. I quite enjoyed my day there.
Guess where I went that night? I went to Time Square! It was so totally amazing. There were lots of lights and cars and signs. It is a good thing that I took a taxi, otherwise I would have gotten lost! This is a picture of me in Time Square.
It is really busy! I got myself some dinner while I was there. I had pumpkin soup. It was really yummy.

Doesn't it look really good! This is what I did on Monday. Today I will be leaving at 9pm for Mexico City. C-U then!

Sunday in NYC

This post is really late! I was having problems with my computer! These next few posts will be catch up posts. Right now I am in Mexico city! OK....... what have I done since my post of my last day in London.
After I arrived in NYC, I went to see the Statue of Liberty. It is incredibly big. It is also really green.
After the Statue of Liberty, I went to see the Empire State Building. That is also quite impressive. Did you know that it is 381 meters tall! I think that is super tall.
It was lunch time after I visited those two things. I had a delicious steak burger for lunch. It was really delicious.

After lunch, I went to Central Park. I haven't seen such a beautiful park ever in my life! I took lots of photos of it.

This is but a few of my pictures of Central Park. I took over fifty! I spent the rest of my day at Central Park. It was very relaxing. This was all the places I visited on Sunday. Stay tuned for the next post!

Last day in London

Hi Guys! So sorry that this post is a day late. I was really tired yesterday. I went sightseeing yesterday in the morning and in the afternoon, I was on a plane bound for NYC. That is were I am now. I am doing this catch up post before I go sightseeing for the day.
First thing in the morning, I went to see Big Ben. Boy was is big! This is me in front of it. I was amazed at the sound of it chiming. I was there at just the right time!
Also that morning I squashed in a visit to Windsor Castle. It is quite spectacular. Even though it was the same day, it was getting overcast! Windsor Castle is an amazing old castle.

This is a garden in the Windsor Castle grounds. It was so beautiful!

Now that I am in NYC, I will be going to see lots of amazing things. Look for another post soon!

London sightseeing.

Hi everyone! Guess where I went yesterday. I went on the London Eye! It was so cool! I could see for miles. This is me in front of the London Eye.

It is so huge. I felt really small when I looked up at it from the bottom. This is the view that I saw from the top. It was really amazing.

After I went on the London Eye, I went to Westminster Abbey. Westminster Abbey is an Anglican church. It is a really beautiful church. I asked a nice lady to take this picture of me out the front of the Abbey.

Isn't this a spectacular church! It is super huge! This is a picture of the inside of the church. It is really beautiful. Scroll down for more pictures of the inside of the church.

This is the garden of remembrance for all the men and women who have served in the army since WW1.

This is another image of the inside of the church. It is from a different angle this time.

After I went to Westminster Abbey, I was really hungry. That was because it was lunchtime. I went to a Pizza shop and brought myself a delicious looking (and tasting) Hawaiian pizza

Doesn't is look great! After I had lunch, I went to Buckingham Palace. I was amazed at everything I saw. This is me outside the palace.

Sadly, I wasn't allowed to go inside. But I did see some of the soldiers outside the castle. They looked really strict!

I spent the rest of the day at Buckingham palace. When I went home that night, I was so tired. I had a good nights sleep and today I am ready to go and sightsee more. Tomorrow I will be leaving for NYC. Look for the next post tomorrow!
